2026 Updates

July 14th, 2026:

  • Dotz: Removed the game over modal. Improved status messages and tied the game over logic into this system as it is more efficient. Added game stats to local storage so you can keep track of wins and losses on your device.

July 11th, 2026:

  • Secrets: Added pagination to the comments page. Added nested comments one level deep.
  • Plunger Drop: Changed background music. Shortened the skibidi sound so they don't annoy you when they stack up.
  • Fartle: Added a share modal along with the days guess distribution from other players so you can see how well you stack up against others. Moved score submissions server side, so no more cheating.
  • New Feature: Added the "Your Data" page to the footer of the website. See and delete everything FartDump stores in your browser.

July 5th, 2026:

  • Crypto Puzzle: Adjusted the next auto selected field after guessing a correct letter with multiple instances. That is a mouthful and has also been a pain in the butt, but I think I finally nailed it down this time.

June 18th, 2026:

  • Click the Potato: Added a check to prevent submitting scores of 0.
  • Let's Paint!: Added a layer of protection to prevent submitting the same image twice.

June 15th, 2026:

  • Baby Launcher: Got all images redrawn and uploaded. I didn't rename every asset so cache's may still grab the older images for a bit if you have played before. Updated logic for assigning letters to the blocks obstacle so they are random.
  • Plunger Drop: Uploaded most of the new redrawn assets. Migrated over the end game initial score setup from Rectal Blaster 9000 as it works better. Added a small chance for a skibid on the white and green toilets.

June 11th, 2026:

  • Baby Launcher: Adjusted timing for the clown kicking animation. I'm rebuilding/redrawing the sprite sheet so this was a nice side effect of that.

June 6th, 2026:

  • FartDump Comic: Added navigation below the comic for ease of use in jumping between comics.

June 3rd, 2026:

May 28th, 2026:

  • Let's Draw!: Added a random user drawing to the browse card. Updated all SVG icons. Cleaned up the code quite a bit.

May 27th, 2026:

  • Crypto Puzzle: Tweaked the delete/backspace logic to delete wrong guesses first then finally land on the first available empty input. I have been fighting the logic on this one for quite a while, I think it is good to go now.

May 23rd, 2026:

  • Secrets: Fixed bug that prevented submitting comments on secrets.

May 22nd, 2026:

  • Secrets: The meta data for the secrets was getting clumsy, so I took inspiration from Reddit and put the voting, comments, and share links in pill buttons and built a kebab menu for following, reporting, and subscribing. Removed icons from top buttons as well.

May 19th, 2026:

  • Crypto Puzzle: Migrated the Fartle keyboard over to the Crypto Puzzle game as it works better on mobile.

May 14th, 2026:

  • Baby Launcher: Introduced the Zap! button which when activated will eliminate bad obstacles.

May 13th, 2026:

  • Fartle Unlimited: Added a flag to avoid double submitting guesses.
  • Fartle: Added a flag to avoid double submitting guesses. Adjusted HUD to align with the new layout used in Fartle Unlimited.
  • Secrets: Moved the messages for secret confirmations and notification option into a modal for better user experience.

May 5th, 2026:

  • New Game: By popular demand from me, Fartle Unlimited now let's you keep playing Fartle to your hearts content.
  • Fartle: The word pool has grown large enough that the game now checks against guess words, so you can no longer guess anything you want.
  • Website: Added a better bottom navigation for mobile devices. This move most definetly introduce some UI/UX bugs. Hit up the contact page if you run across any, and let me know.

May 2nd, 2026:

  • Plunger Drop: Added a start button that will start the game and fire the music and sounds to start, which is more user friendly than music trying to fire on game load.

May 1st, 2026:

  • Rectal Blaster 9000: Added a sprite sheet for the Jetty spaceship.

April 30th, 2026:

  • Baby Launcher: Updated the sprite sheet for the clown kicking animation.

April 27th, 2026:

  • Rectal Blaster 9000: Added a tap to play screen once in landscape mode on mobile that will start music and trigger fullscreen as I did with Baby Launcher yesterday. Moved the fart sounds to bosses so they aren't so annoying. Added skip button on initials modal so you can skip sending your score if you want.
  • Code Breaker: Fixed the distorted rotate overlay on mobile.

April 26th, 2026:

  • Baby Launcher: Moved scores to left side of screen and moved buttons up on the game. Added a tap to play screen once in landscape mode on mobile that will start music and trigger fullscreen which looks much better on mobile.

April 23rd, 2026:

  • Secrets: Added push notifications for secrets on mobile. This is my first time working with push notifications so there will be bugs!
  • Rectal Blaster 9000: Completely reorganized code and moved all modals and buttons onto canvas. Should take care of edge cases where you couldn't enter your initials to submit your score.

April 22nd, 2026:

  • Plunger Drop: Added a countdown before the game begins. Added visual feedback for made and missed plungers as well as the frequency for waves of toilets. Adjusted font sizes that were covering the plumber on small screens.

April 21st, 2026:

  • Rectal Blaster 9000: Added highscores directly into the game. Moved buttons on right up higher so they don't cover the firing button on mobile.
  • Dotz: Gave hard mode a bit of an upgrade to make it more challenging. Added current wins next to player and computer.

April 18th, 2026:

  • Baby Launcher: Removed the fixed background images and added a procedurally generated background by drawing directly onto the canvas that I can be added to later. Added highscores directly into the game.

April 16th, 2026:

  • Dotz: Moved the instructions and controls to the right side of the screen on large screens. Made several adjustments to make the game play well across different screen sizes.

April 9th, 2026:

  • Rectal Blaster 9000: Mostly color changes... Changed the dark brown blobs to "corn kernels(WIP)* so they are easier to see. Updated boss colors. Updated instructions for mobile.
  • Fart Factory: Added SVG icons all over the place and tweaked the colors for the page. Removed the Super Sphincter upgrade as it evolved into the same functionality as the Bean Injection upgrade and became redundant and confusing. Made the progress bar smarter by showing progress to the next meaningful upgrade instead of just for unlocks.

April 8th, 2026:

  • Code Breaker: Made some adjustments to allow for longer questions, answers and two word answers.
  • Baby Launcher: Updated the sitting baby image to a higher resolution in-game and across the site.
  • Secrets: Fixed a bug that prevented voting on the search page.
  • Crypto Puzzle: Reduced the padding on the game over modal that sometimes pushed the submit button off screen on mobile devices.

April 4th, 2026:

  • Website: Figured out how to lazy load the reCAPTCHA on the secret submission forms, greatly speeding up the homepage and secret share page. Will add to other forms at a later time.
  • Code Breaker: Rebuilt rotate overlay screen and functions. This one still needs some tweaking.
  • Rectal Blaster: Rebuilt rotate overlay screen and functions.
  • Baby Launcher: Fixed obstacles floating after resizing or rotating your screen. Rebuilt rotate overlay screen and functions.

April 2nd, 2026:

  • FartDump App: Fixed orientation locking on some devices.

March 31st, 2026:

  • Baby Launcher: Fixed a bug where obstacles would stop spawning if you got the baby flying too fast(I hit 92,000m! I deleted the score from the database, lol.).
  • Website: Set a check in the websites header to read how tall the sticky header is. All canvas based games are now using this globally, which should make them display better on mobile phones.
  • Plunger Drop: Switched to using dvh instead of just vh and changed how the game was drawn on canvas. This allowed me to remove the portrait only restriction for mobile phones. Also, fixed the initials prompt on mobile. This was a bug that prevented first time mobile users from submitting their score.

March 29th, 2026:

  • Code Breaker: Tiny Update. Put a guard in place to stop scores of zero from hitting the database.
  • Website: Put Mr. Farts and the high cores on the homepage under the secret submission form for mobile users.

March 28th, 2026:

  • Baby Launcher: Tiny Update. Removed the full screen and mute button images and used the svg's from Rectal Blaster 9000, they load faster and are easier to style. Also, reorganized the full screen, mute, and info buttons.

March 27th, 2026:

  • Website: Removed the cartoons from homepage and added Mr. Farts(Beta, cause he needs work) and high scores for some of the games. This is only for large screens atm.

March 26th, 2026:

  • New Feature: Added Fake Tip Page. This is an updated feature brought over from Wisedocks.com as it is fairly popular and is a good way to mess with your friends or an ungrateful waitress. On your phone go fullscreen, and flip your phone horizontal for the full effect.

March 25th, 2026:

  • Rectal Blaster 9000: The focus was on performance. Removed tons of shadow blurs to increase framerate, cached gradients so they are not rebuilt every frame, removed the scroll hijacking(sorry about that), updated header-height calculation so it works correctly and fixes several display issues, especially with pause and game over modals.
  • New Feature: Added Fart Paint. Draw your own images and rate the drawings of others.

March 21st, 2026:

  • Rectal Blaster 9000: Made new SVG icons for pause, mute, and fullscreen buttons. Added fullscreen to game(WIP, working on a new approach from the other games). Added some more checks for inputting initials on IOS & Android.

March 19th, 2026:

  • Code Breaker: Lowered the volume on successful guesses and added a tone for wrong guesses.

March 11th, 2026:

  • Rectal Blaster 9000: Added progression, powerups, bosses, and much more. Upgraded to version 2.0!

March 6th, 2026:

  • Fart Factory: Refactored quite a bit of the game to make it more fun to play. Added a Stats button and a Reset Game button.

February 26th, 2026:

  • Code Breaker: Fixed bug that prevented users from entering their initials when the game was over. Again. I think.

February 14th, 2026:

  • Click The Potato: Made proper fix for disabling nav buttons when Tater pops up on top of them. Adjusted the header math so Tater shouldn't pop up on top of the header causing you to click away from the page by accident. Tater now spawns a bit faster as well.

February 13th, 2026:

  • Rectal Blaster 9000: Small update to prepare for some fun future features. Fixed some modal display and game controls issues.
  • Baby Launcher: Fixed an occasional bug that would cause the game to hang while submitting a score.
  • Website: Just a dev note: I've rearranged the games on the homepage and menus by popularity. Not a 'real' update, just some housekeeping.

February 7th, 2026:

  • Secrets: Added a report feature to the secrets. Click the flag on a secret or comment if it needs to go.

February 6th, 2026:

  • Secrets: Raised the minimum character length of secrets to 25. Deleted several low effort secrets. In an effort to keep the wall engaging, I will start doing a better job of moderating.

February 5th, 2026:

  • Website: Added an actual menu instead of the hamburger menu for desktop.
  • Website: Updated the Privacy Policy to reflect the upcoming changes with Google reCAPTCHA. This is a win for privacy!

January 29th, 2026:

  • Fartle: Fixed virtual keyboard not showing up on large screen mobile devices. I think...

January 28th, 2026:

  • Rectal Blaster: Made several improvements to the game. It should look and function better on mobile. Added health clouds. Added pause button. Changed background music.

January 28th, 2026:

  • Website: Added automatic dark mode detection based on your device's theme (manual toggle in header still overrides).
  • Website: Fixed the Rectal Blaster missing icon on the homepage and games page.
  • Website: Added a small celebration if you manage to find all pages on the website. I may do more with this later.
  • Website: Fixed the size of the secret submission textarea on the homepage while in light mode.
  • Fartle: Added an indicator to let you know if a letter appears twice in the word.

January 26th, 2026:

  • Click The Potato: Moved the navigation buttons to the bottom of the page. The potato would sometimes appear on top of the buttons causing you to exit the game if you missed the potato and clicked the button.Will probably use javascript to just disable those buttons later, I was just being lazy.
  • Soundboard: Reworked the Soundboard buttons and put the categories into dropdowns. Added small fart sprite when a button is clicked.
  • Website: Fixed the update page(this page) to put each year into its own dropdown categories as well.

January 22nd, 2026:

  • Rectal Blaster 9000: Improved mobile playability by adding more distinct visual controls and moving the scoreboard to middle of screen.

January 15th, 2026:

  • Rectal Blaster 9000: Added a new game, Rectal Blaster 9000. It is still very much a work in progress, but it's stable enough to play.

January 10th, 2026:

  • Secrets: Mr. Smiley now gets the hell out of the way when you are sharing a secret.
  • Baby Launcher: Adjusted the audio volumes for background music and sound effects.
  • Website: Removed the cartoon dude from the homepage and added a cartoon animation built with html/css which is more cartoony and better fits the goofy style of FartDump. This took forever, so like them and love them!

January 9th, 2026:

  • Dotz: Added difficulties, sound effects via the Web Audio API for faster feedback, and improved the look and feel of the game with glowing effects and css animations.

2024 Updates

October 3rd, 2024:

  • Website: Resurrected FartDump from the dead with the bare-bones anonymous wall of secrets. Shared it on Reddit expecting it to vanish within a week, but it quietly refused to die.
