I genuinely hate the way I look, I'm not super big but big enough that I just hate it. I have no clue where to start in the gym and feel like I am gonna be a fucking weirdo to other people that know me. I am scared to start, I need help please

Posted on:I was super self conscious for a while, and I was terrified of stepping into the gym more than I was scared of working out. I have started going and now, only a month or two later, my self-confidence has sky rocketed even though the results as of now are limited.
Posted on:u genuinely need to LEARN (meaning do research) on how to not worry about others perception of you. that is YOUR BODY that YOU LIVE IN. what should motivate you is knowing that you deserve a better body. there's nothing to be scared of, everyone treats everyone the same in the gym, they mind their business regardless. and you wont be the only "bigger" person in the gym, TRUST ME. also another tip: eating things that are processed snacks (little debbie snacks, lil bags of chips, anything like that) was my biggest downfall. before even trying to do the whole big diet thing, just take out snacks first. do lot of cardio & take out snacks, eat more meat and I promise you will slim down way faster than you think. i completely believe in you. and I love you and hope you begin to feel confident beloved
Posted on:i have to agree with the other guy.its not even the first day thats bad,but rather the fear you have before going. once you actually step foot in the gym its a lot calmer in your mind. maybe try going with a friend first.
Posted on:Hey, you’re not alone, everyone in the gym started somewhere, and 99% of them had no clue either. The first day always sucks. You’ll feel like a lost puppy, but trust me: no one actually cares or is watching. They’re all too busy worrying about their own insecurities.
