I just turned 18 and every year I get bday gifts for all my friends without missing a single year. Each gift is personalised for that person and not just a 20 dollar bill, I spend so much time wrapping, making and finding the gifts. But i never get anything in return. I know my friends are good people, but it just stings a little that my friends dont think about me the same way i do for them. And theyre my closest mates so i dont have anyone to talk to this about. Thank god for this website

Maybe you should tell your friends that you feel unappreciated? They might not have realized that they hurt your feelings, and then put in more effort. They may also not change, but just remember that there are other people out there that will pick out special gifts for you, and you just need to find them!
